My Origin
Part of the L cluster of haplogroups, which has been concretely characterized as representing the original human mitochondrial lineage, haplogroup L2a is found in Africa. This haplogroup dates to approximately 55,000 years ago, and is detected in highest frequency in north, west, and central Africa. Future work will further document the historical distribution of this haplogroup and closely related haplogroups of the L cluster.
USAGE POLICY: Use of the above Haplogroup description requires written permission from Gene by Gene.

It is defined by markers
198, 930, 3308, 8604, 16086.
My mtDNA haplogroup is L2a1c1
observed among:
North Africans, Arabs, Tunisia Sephardi, Ashkenazi Jews,
Hebrews, Egyptians, Nubians, Yemenite, Moroccan, Iberian
Peninsula (Spain and Portugal) Portuguese Angola, Angola
Mbundu Tribe.
My mtDNA haplogroup L2a1c1 HVR1 have a match with the
Mbundu of Angola.
The Mbundu are one of the Bantu people.
They were coming to Angola region since the early Middle
Ages onwards, but most immigration occurred between the
13th and 16th century AD, North Africa.
Kimbundu West is a Bantu language, and it is said that the
Mbundu arrived from North Africa instead of East Africa that
correspond with my haplogroup L2a1c1 North African origin.
I also have a genetic combination with Ewondo people who are related to people Beti-Pahuin.
The Beti-Pahuin the exact origins are unclear.
At one point, they were thought to have migrated to the territory of present day Cameroon in the North African Azande of Sudan This North African geographical location
also confirms the assignment of my mtDNA haplogroup
L2a1c1 ..
My mtDNA haplogroup L2a1c1 also has genetic relationship
with the Ga people of Ghana.
Some scholars believe that the Ga-Adangbe people
originated east of its current position in the Accra plains.
It is also plausible with mtDNA haplogroup L2a1c1 to my
having some migrations in West Africa.
My North African origin also has notable frequencies of the
Iberian Peninsula (Portugal and Spain).
This group also shares ancestry with the Jews and Moors
from the Iberian Peninsula Spanish Sephardic. ..
This haplotype also shares ancestry including Moors and
Muslims who practice Islam and private Marranos who were
Hebrews / Sephardic Jews who converted to Christianity,
but
kept the Jewish traditions, in particular ..
The higher frequency of mtDNA Haplogroup my L2a1c1, is
found in Hebrews Southeast Asia Yemen and Oman ..
Family Locator - Population Finder
Continent (Subcontinent) Population Percentage Margin of Error Europe Finnish, French, Orcadian, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Tuscan 10.00% ± 0.09%
Africa (West Africa) Yoruba 90.00% ± 0.09%
Analyzes Doug McDonald:
SarahKadosh229750 autosomal-it-results.csv
Most likely fit is 10.0% (+ - 0.1%) Europe (various
subcontinents)
and 90.0% (+ - 0.1%),
Africa (all West African)
The following are possible population sets and their
fractions,
probably on top
Russian = 0.100 = 0.900 or Yoruba
Hungary = 0.101 Yoruba = 0.899 or
Finland = 0.100 = 0.900 or Yoruba
Irish = 0.100 = 0.900 or Yoruba
= 0.100 = 0.900 English or Yoruba
Romania = 0.101 = 0.899 or Yoruba
French = 0.100 = 0.900 or Yoruba
Belarus = 0.099 = 0.901 or Yoruba
Lithuani = 0.098 = 0.902 or Yoruba
Chuvash = 0.102 Yoruba = 0.898
and none of them is as good as any other, like a good fit.
So
can be anywhere in Europe.
There is also 1.5% of Native Americans,
type unknown.
